Your Responsibilities

As an experienced sustainability consultant, you will work with the leading figures in the industry and, supported by an interdisciplinary team consisting of top experts in sustainability regulation, software development, and business development.

In close collaboration with top management, you will develop innovative strategies and practical solutions that address the key sustainability challenges faced by Europe's leading companies.

In this challenging and dynamic role, you will:

Set the Standard: Work directly with leading European companies to develop groundbreaking solutions in ESG and sustainability.
Leverage Your Expertise: Use your deep knowledge to define a standardized approach for implementing current and future ESG regulations, including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GHG Protocol, EMAS, ISO, and more.
Develop Innovative Solutions: Create strategies that support companies in preparing CSRD reports, EU Taxonomy alignment, CO₂ footprints, environmental goals, and other sustainability requirements.
Lead Management Workshops: Conduct on-site workshops to determine double materiality for leading companies, providing solid decision-making foundations.
Create Scalable Solutions: Develop clear, actionable, and scalable plans that help our clients achieve their sustainability goals efficiently.
Represent cubemos as a Thought Leader: Act as an ambassador for cubemos and become a leading voice on ESG, sustainability, and EU regulations for the most successful companies in Europe.

Your Profile

Expert Knowledge in ESG: You have an in-depth understanding of ESG regulations, sustainability standards, and the requirements companies need to meet.
Proven Experience in Practical Implementation: You bring cross-industry experience in implementing at least 2 of the following core standards:
- CSRD/ESRS
- Carbon Footprint/CCF (GHG Protocol)
- EU Taxonomy
Additional Hands-On Experience with Other Regulations: Proficiency in any of the following areas is a plus:
- EMAS
- ISO 50001
- CSDDD
- LkSG and/or other European supply chain regulations
- REACH
- RoHS
- EUDR
- PCF
- CBAM
Outstanding Communication Skills: You excel in public speaking and can confidently deliver presentations in both German and English.
Strong Affinity for Technology and Digital Solutions: You are tech-savvy and passionate about scalable, digital solutions.
Solutions-Oriented Mindset: You possess strong problem-solving skills and enjoy developing pragmatic solutions for complex challenges.
High Level of Ambition and Drive: You are determined to exceed expectations and deliver excellent results.
Exceptional Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You are adept at building strong relationships and can inspire both teams and clients.
Flexibility and Willingness to Travel: You enjoy business trips and on-site meetings with clients.
Language Proficiency: You are fluent in both German and English.
Strong Business Acumen: You have a solid understanding of business management, ideally with a degree in Business Administration.
Extensive Practical Experience: You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an ESG/Sustainability Manager or as a strategic management consultant.
Addition - As a Senior Employee: You have at least 4 years of experience as an ESG/Sustainability Manager or as a strategic business consultant with a focus on sustainability.

The 4 responsibilities of this role:

Onboarding customers in the software on topics such as CSRD, CO2, EU Taxonomy, and LkSG
Conducting workshops on double materiality
Consulting for enterprise customers
Providing expert guidance to our customer base in implementing CSRD, CO2, EU Taxonomy, and LkSG
